She also has a Masters of Taxation Degree from Duquesne University. Chantelle has a strong background in taxation for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has twenty (20) years of public accounting experience.

Heather Racchini, CPA
Heather C. Racchini is a CPA licensed in Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and International Business from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has a strong background in auditing for Construction Clients and Non-Profit Organizations. She also has a strong background in taxation for Estates and Trusts. Heather provides accounting and tax services for Individuals, Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, and Estates/Trusts. She has twenty three (23) years of experience in public accounting. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids and running with friends.
In Memoriam
David K. Dernar, July 31, 1947 – August 31, 2025
David K. Dernar born in Wattsburg, PA earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. Following college, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy, stationed in Puerto Rico during the Vietnam War.
In 1974 he started his own accounting firm, Dernar & Associates in Murrysville, PA. He was a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania and Georgia and practiced in public accounting, concentration in taxation and auditing. He went above and beyond for his clients, friends and family.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Georgia Society of CPA’s. Within the Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s he was a past chairperson of the PICPA State Education Committee.
David was a dedicated businessman and respected member of the community. He also served as a volunteer board member on the Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities board.
David is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jackie Danish
Jackie is a staff accountant who has 28 years of experience preparing individual tax returns, corporate tax returns, and payroll tax reports. She has an associate degree in science from Penn State University. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and adult sons including camping and kayaking.
Aaron Neu
Aaron is a staff accountant with five years of experience who received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017. He has worked in a multitude of accounting fields including non-profit, small business, personal, and corporate accounting.
Larry J. Thompson, CPA
Larry Thomson has fifty-five (55) years of public accounting experience with a specialty in tax and consulting services. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is the past president of the Pittsburgh chapter of the PICPA and Past Vice President of the PICPA State Chapter.
Larry enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
